One Wells Fargo Center traded in late March for $284 million, registering as Charlotte's most-expensive commercial real estate deal of 2016. Located at 301 S. College St., the uptown office tower houses more than 1 million square feet across 42 stories. At the time of the sale, the building had an occupancy rate of 98%. It last sold in 2013 for $245 million.
